yeah, the ' meaningful snaps' arguement sounds good in theory but in reality a meaningful snap means the game is still in doubt. if swoopes comes in and throws a pick-6 or fumbles the first snap, the coaches would get crucified. 'why is a true FR in the game now ??'That's easy to say but if you go back and dissect the season, there really were no more meaningful snaps to be had. Consider Swoopes was injured and not 100% until about the ISU game. About the only game he could have received more snaps (in hindsight) was the RRR. But even then, ou scored at the beginning of the 4th (if I remember correctly) and made it close enough that a TO could have made a difference.I really don't fault the coaches for the way they handled TS last season. They didn't really have a choice.
