NBA Playoff Crunch Time for the Mavs

Dallas is in 7th place in the Western Conference, 1/2 game ahead of Denver and 1 1/2 games up on Phoenix. The Mavs have 8 games left (Golden State tonight), 4 against what could be considered playoff teams (as it stands right now in Atlanta, Chicago, the Lakers and the Rockets). The remaining3 games are against Golden State (again), Portland and Utah. Utah is hanging on and is 2 games behind Dallas currently.

Basically I think Dallas will make the playoffs but it will be a fight and they will squeak in. Lamar Odom supposedly pissed Cuban off and the next day he was gone. Will get paid the remainder of the season but Cuban wanted none of his Hollywood shenanigans. I am still bitter about them letting Barea and Tyson Chandler go. Those guys on this team this year and it is NBA Finals - Again.

GO MAVS!

Mavs have won 3 in a row and today's game against the Lakers is BIG TIME! Poor little Kobe is out with a hurt ankle which makes me cry boo hoo. Hasn't everyone figured out that the only good thing with the name Kobe is Beef!

I hate the NBA. Kobe is out with a boo-boo on his shin. Doesn't he have a girl to molest in Colorado or something?

Mavs blew it big time today. The Lakers have won 4 straight vs. Dallas which is bad but Dallas needs all the wins they can get from here until the end of the season. Terry put up a crap shot.

Tied with my Rockets. Should be interesting down the stretch.
Dallas is a game and a half up on clutch city. Better check those standings again!

Even when/if the Mavs get in the playoffs, they won't be there long. Losing Chandler has hurt even worse than I thought it would.

At least give us back Barea... and his girlfriend.

Dude, he's an NBA player. Plus he might be hung like Mugsy Bogues.

Marcus Camby and Kevin Martin are injured and if Dirk rails them like last time then we should be looking at a big win.

Houston blew the game but congrats to Dallas. The Rockets' overachieved this season as it is so not making the playoffs should not disappoint the fans.
