Wednesday, December 16 is the early signing period for high school athletes.
The Longhorns sit at 18 hard commits and the expectation is that all will sign during the early signing period (with the exception of Ishmael Ibraheem).
Texas is in the mix for a grad transfer CB and there is a possibility for a currently uncommitted WR commit to pop-up in the class. Other than that, don’t expect for much in the area of surprises.
Nothing is final until an LOI is received, but I talked to Ja’Tavion Sanders a few days ago and he told me he is signing at 8:30 AM at his school (Denton Ryan) and that he was ? Texas.
Derrick Harris Jr told me he is signing at 9:00 am in the New Caney HS auditorium.
Hayden Conner is signing on Wednesday but will do a public signing on Friday with his teammates at Katy Taylor.
