They realize that there 15 minutes of fame might be sailing out the window. It would help if they cut 20,000 seats in the stadium they are building. My friends y'all have a great weekMy aggy buddy is telling me that JFF is going to declare for the NFL Draft.
I have been fearful of this for a year or so.good! I'll be happy as long as the Texans don't draft him!
Jeff Alm, oh my. A friend of mine is one of the top Sheriffs in Harris County. At that time he was a deputy and the first person to arrive at the scene. The accident was at 59 and 610 loop interchange near the Galleria. Jeff was not alone in the car so I was always befuddled why it was spun as a suicide. If you were an Oiler fan who lived through the Pardee years, you should record and watch the NFL Network's "93 Oilers" playing on "A Football Life," while it is still playing. It is a 1-hr docu about all the things that happened that year -- the bad start, Buddy Ryan being hired, the RunN'Shoot, Babygate, Jeff Alm, Ryan punching Gilbride, the loss to Joe Montana in the playoffs (I was there for that too, sadly) and how it all led to the team moving. They interviewed almost everyone from those days, including Ryan and Gilbride. So much happened with that team, it is hard to believe. And what talent they had - Pro Bowlers all over the field.[/i]
No worries. I actually heard the same story it sounds like. Before you call BS and doubt what my friend claimed....
