The more interesting weight change was Payton Kirkland. After coming in last year at something like 375, he's at 250? That's either a typo or indicates a position change.

Thats a typo. His weight is 367 lbs now.

I'm about 4 hours from Ann Arbor, and this will be the closest the Horns will be to me in forever. I was hoping to make the drive to attend this game, but definitely not at that price. ?

In some respects he is correct.  It's not all abut money, and brand affiliation is important.

  But the getting beat by Alabama instead of Kstate, is an idiotic thing to say, and although it's not all about money, money is a huge factor, as is brand, as is a more compelling schedule  as is recruiting. 

On the other hand he would look dumb if he kept his mouth shut, and he tried to play his bad hand as best he could.
