Very excited about this.  But it's a bit of a let down that it's in standard def.  I didn't know that even existed anymore.  Fortunately, the FB games are supposed to be in HD.  Dish needs to correct that part of the deal.

I had dish installed on Friday, took my DTV receiver to the lake for one last weekend (we'll still need to figure out what to do down there), and cancelled DTV during my drive home.  When they asked me why, I said, "Dish has the LHN; DTV does not."  He asked me how many games I missed last year.  I told him none because I had a slingbox at a friends house who had Uverse, but I was tired of watching games on my computer when switching was so easy.  He started to talk about other sports channels, and I stopped him, reinforcing that as far as I was concerned, everything about DTV was fine and that my decision to leave was "100% based on the LHN."  It was really satisfying.

Okay, so I have the Dish guys here at the moment redoing some things that got botched on the install at my house last Friday.  I asked the guy about LHN in HD and he was a bit miffed that it would only be in SD.  He called and got someone to give him a bit more of a rundown (sorry if this was covered earlier, but I didn't see that it was).  It looks like there is a spot slated for the LHN in HD on in the high 500s (Texas Only).  This is some sort of alternate sports channel and isn't active now.  But my guess is that, on game day, this is where they're going to run the HD feed.
