Texas announced today that G Kerwin Roach is entering the NBA draft, but will not hire an agent. Roach will be able to receive feedback from teams before making his final decision.

Statement from Roach

“My family and I talked with Coach Smart and we have all decided that it is best for me to test the waters,” Roach said. “We want to see where I may stand in this year’s draft, but we’re also keeping all options open. We want to get the most accurate feedback directly from the NBA, so we can make the best decision for my future.”

I'd be surprised if he was picked this upcoming draft due to his inconsistency. He has a big senior year and maybe he gets picked in the 2nd round.

I hope he gets positive feedback for him, but I hope it's not enough to go through with the draft.  At the rate people are dropping from the program they need him back.  So far Bamba, James Banks (transfer), Jacob Young (transfer), and Eric Davis (NBA draft) have left or will leave the program.  Add the health of Andrew Jones to that list and that' 5 open spots (could be 6 with Roach) with only 4 coming in.  Maybe they can pick up a grad transfer.
