Comparing Longhorn Nation to a terrorist organization which has killed hundreds of thousands of people around the world, including the massacre on 9-11. I dont care which of his "people" it offends. That was pure class all the way.

“I don’t know who the hell those f—ing crybabies on the Internet are. Could be Aggies or the Taliban, for all I know. Or f—ing al Qaeda. Because every real UT fan is proud of this team and the way they’ve turned their season around.â€

JJ crossed the line when he threatened those that could topple MB.

I guess he owns the team.

Joe Jamail does not acknowledge that there are any lines.

What a damn disgrace to call fans who expect more this... What a sad state we are in
Just disgusting.

How dare fans unwilling to be laughing stocks or to tire of seeing UT getting their asses handed to them by BYU? We're idiots for reading the next Heisman Trophy winner say he wanted to go to UT but was never called back? All are complete idiots for watching as Agie sucks the life out of our state? Why would we want change, when it's obvious that what we have is not working?

Joe will be put his buddy before the school. The guy may be incredibly successful, but he still looks like a big jerk in that article.

He can EABOD. I don't care how much money has has or given to the University. He is not over UT. Time for him to be gone.

Joe's a shriveled little penis-wrinkle with an overabundance of money and ego and a total lack of class. Time for a new breed of BMD's to take over.

Joe Jamail is not any of those things and he has a ton of class. His opinion differs from yours. If you had to have an attorney on your side, isn't he one you'd want? I sure as hell would. JUst like Pennzoil did.

He's got an opinion and a lot of money and he knows his opinion counts a lot exactly because he has a lot of money and he's willing to use it to influence decisions.

I respect the hell out of the man. His opinion differs from mine, but if I was in damn fight, i'd sure as hell want him on my side. He's fighting for his friend. That's what friends do.

You are in a fight, Slim. What do you value more, Mack's pride or the program?

I agree with this. It is rare to have a friend stand so strong in your corner. Joe is right about there being a lot jerks on the internet.

reread my post and tell me whose side i'm on, embrey

just because i don't agree with him doesn't mean i can't respect the man.

and one other thing. i'm not in a fight. they'll pick who they want to pick and we'll be ok either way. this life or death crap everybody seems to be living these days is a bit over the top. people need to get a grip.

my guess is that mack brown will hang them up and we'll move on. that's also my hope. if we don't, the sun will come up tomorrow and i'll still be a Longhorn fan.

Money does not make a good person. By all accounts (minus Mack and bill little) he is pos who has donated enough money to make UT his personal country club.

Ties or not McPhaul, it is disgusting and inappropriate to associate this mess with an organization who masterminded a massacre that killed thousands of Americans, and hundreds of firemen and police officers.

I didn't question who you respected. As for you, me and all 'real Longhorn fans', JJ questioned that himself.

JJ uses his money and position to flex his influence while us CRYBABIES on the internet who are either AGGIES, the TALIBAN or F...ING AL QAEDA use our wimpy little voices to insert our opinion into this matter. Funny thing is, JJ chose to dignify those of us he thinks so poorly of with such a comment. He may protesteth too much.

And, like you Slim, even if MB comes back for another year you and I will still wake up Longhorn fans.
