Would go against what Patterson told the media this evening:
Pattersn indicated that Texas isn't interested in setting a new ceiling for coaches salaries. Said just because Texas has the resources doesn't mean they should be exhausted to the fullest possible extent just because they're available.

Patterson also said he wasn't interested in the AD job at Texas and was committed to Arizona State.

He never specified and the consensus among commenters was it would have to have been written for NS.
