In rare interview, Texas strength coach Pat Moorer opens up about role

He is going to figure out this summer whether the Longhorns have enough players who are angry enough to improve upon last season’s 6-7 embarrassment. And make no mistake, that’s exactly what this coaching staff believes it was.

“Yeah, I’m going to find out. I’m going to find out right away,†Moorer said. “I’ve had a chance to evaluate things over the last year. I know where some of our problems are, and that’s an area we’ve got to grow.â€
