The 5-star LB tweeted on Sunday that his commitment date would be December 15th, 2016. Moses will be an early enrollee at whichever program he decides to attend. Although Texas has never been a front-runner for Moses, they are definitely still in the race. LSU is still seen as the favorite in this battle, but do not be surprised to see Moses seek other options. LSU is on pace to have what many think is an inevitably disappointing season, which could affect Moses' decision more than most think. Another important note to remember is that Texas natives Baron Browning and Anthony Hines will both commit on November 29th. Whether they plan to attend the same school or not, it is possible that both linebackers will choose Texas. If this were the case, Moses will most likely not end up at Texas. However, crazier things have happened in recruiting. In my opinion, Moses is a big fan of two things: championships and the ability to play in the NFL. With those two aspects in mind, Alabama makes too much sense for Moses at this point. It's still September, and anything could happen. It's going to be a fun ride with Charlie Strong and this 2017 class. Mark your calendars for November 29th and December 15th. You may see a notorious #LetsRide or two.

Hines, Browning and Moses. Is that asking too much?
If anyone could pull that trio out of the hat, it's definitely Charlie and coach BJ. Signing those guys could also mean that Malik could finally move to his more natural pass-rushing position at FOX end. Just thinking about that defense should get anyone excited.

This is going to be interesting Mr. Wier. Now my gut feeling is telling me one of them is going to be watching what the other one is doing

This would send a "Strong" message to the college football world if all three were to choose the good guys. Not to mention what the rest of the recruiting class would look like after that.

I think you could be right. A lot of recruits like to think they are independent, but it never hurts for them to go to the same school as some friends.

Landing even 2/3 could have a Malik Jefferson effect, although probably not the same momentum

Yep you're right Mr.Wier especially when this year for Texas is very important for the message that Strong has sent for this football team. And as far the Malik Jefferson effect I think that started like wildfire back in 2015 and it started a campaign in 2016 which produced a recruiting whoopass if I ever see one

agree completely.  particularly as things are in flux right now.  all that talk about the temperature of charlie's posterior is looking flat comical two games into this season, and we are yet to see what effect that has.  it's got to be considerable because it was like charlie had to drag a tractor tire but we were winning races anyway.  since notre dame charlie isn't slowed down by anything.

actually, since malik i haven't discounted anybody charlie and this gang wants within this state.  the circle of influence may be growing a lot if hints we're getting are right.  if this season continues to go really well, there isn't a program in the country that won't groan when they realize charlie is targeting one of theirs.  they're going to need a bigger boat and there ain't one.

Nope!  I have a gut feeling about Moses.  Guys laughed at me when I said that about young Pittman, and they laughed at me when I said it about Malik.

We shall see.
