The 5-star LB tweeted on Sunday that his commitment date would be December 15th, 2016. Moses will be an early enrollee at whichever program he decides to attend. Although Texas has never been a front-runner for Moses, they are definitely still in the race. LSU is still seen as the favorite in this battle, but do not be surprised to see Moses seek other options. LSU is on pace to have what many think is an inevitably disappointing season, which could affect Moses' decision more than most think. Another important note to remember is that Texas natives Baron Browning and Anthony Hines will both commit on November 29th. Whether they plan to attend the same school or not, it is possible that both linebackers will choose Texas. If this were the case, Moses will most likely not end up at Texas. However, crazier things have happened in recruiting. In my opinion, Moses is a big fan of two things: championships and the ability to play in the NFL. With those two aspects in mind, Alabama makes too much sense for Moses at this point. It's still September, and anything could happen. It's going to be a fun ride with Charlie Strong and this 2017 class. Mark your calendars for November 29th and December 15th. You may see a notorious #LetsRide or two.
