Howdy,

I have been tasked with helping the fightin texas aggie marching band with their new website, fightintexasaggieband.com but they don't teach us much outside of farming.

Anyone got any suggestions for media, content, design tips?

Been looking at my friend's site he did for USC's website: spiritoftroy.org for inspiration.

Thanks y'all!

Considering the global brand importance of the Fightin' Texum aggy Band, you have an obligation to all of mankind to get this website right. I'm sure young men living in the Himalayas, dreaming some day of attending the school where "The Fighting Jimbos" will be racking up title after title (and a few more retro-active ones because, well...you know, turdition) will be crushed if this site isn't built to the same standard to which aggy has become famous for building things.

First, I would contact some of your wealthy alumni and ask them when (and if) they ever intend to pay back the academic side the remaining balance of the eight-figure, interest free loan the athletics department was first "gifted" in 2006. (by the way, if aggy academics wants to leand me $20million+, interest free, for a few decades, let them know I will accept their generous offer. I asked UT athletics for such a deal, but they claimed they couldn't because they weren't "aggy rich.")

Working from the max balance of $21.2 million in 2012, deducting the few payments that have been made, and adding in the interest rate subside the academics side has been sliding under the table to the athletics department, the remaining balance is close to $25 million. Surely, if the alumni have $20 million cash for buyouts and $75 million more to commit to a football coach, the athletics side could find the money from somewhere to pay its debts, especially for a project with such immense importance as yours.

Alternatively, try "Go Fund Me." to raise the money you need. I understand a number of aggys use that site on a regular basis.

I wish you the best of luck in your endeavor. I have no doubt the finished product will scream "aggy." Woof! Woof! Woof!

I'm glad you posted even though your an aggy. I believe your posting here is a cry for help. It's never too late to get out of a cult!

My advice to you is after you read this is to call your parents and tell them you are dropping out. Then you can move to Austin and go to UT, unless you don't have the grades.

If not you will enjoy the fact that Austin has more females than College Station. That's why Johnny kept coming to Austin to party. If your a musician then you will enjoy the music in Austin. If your a tech guy than Austin has plenty of tech companies.

If you want to be a farmer then their are plenty of people who grow crops outside of Austin and make good money. I'm sure they can teach you.

Do you really want to be a part of this?
