I will be doing a podcast tonight with a friend over on Irish Radio. We're gonna preview the game this next week! Got any questions you'd like me to ask him about Notre Dame or any questions you'd like to hear my views on?

True or false. Rudy was offsides.

Is Joe Theisman as big a tool as I think he is, or bigger.

That's all I got. TIA
Theisman changed the pronunciation of his name to rhyme with Heisman his senior year from what I heard. Was pronounced "Theeseman", anyone who knows different feel free to correct me. Sounds like a toolish move to me if true.

Are we truly up tempo? Or is the offense a faster version of last year's playbook?

Could we actually have an advantage since our QB is more experienced?

That is true and why, to this day, I still call him theezman. Stinkin' tool.

Thanks to Lawrence Taylor, he's no longer a tool. To this day, I still cannot bear to watch that play.

Question for the podcast . . . . are we all going to hell if we beat the Irish?

When you match Texas with ND by position, does Texas have any advantages over ND ?
Chip Brown says we have a QB advantage because Swoopes is more experienced.
We also have a better DLine

Touchdown Jesus?
I used to work on the greens keeping crew over the summer as a teenager. We had Jesus on the crew, but we called him Siesta Jesus because he'd always disappear for an hour or so after lunch down to the river bank and take a nap. I'm serious.

Question - have we (once again) conceded the idea of completing passes to a TE?

Seems like we were going to to make it a focus back in the Spring.

And we know from his history, Watson likes using TEs to create mismatches and as an outlet.

But now, with no Devo and with McNeal getting looks at WR, we have moved bigger guys to TE (Caleb Bluiette/Alex De La Torre)

It gives the appearance that we are more concerned with helping our OTs block then we are using the TE as an offensive weapon.

Either way -- whether it's that the coaches determined tackles need the help or that none of the roster TEs can run routes/catch passes -- its frustrating.

Underneath it all is a stunning, long-term recruiting failure.

The end result is that we are hurting ourselves and helping our opponents by not forcing them to account for the TE as a receiving threat.

Was he the supervisor?

Logistical questions: How long is the drive from Chicago to South Bend and any suggestions on parking?

This is something I don't understand. People are hyping Zaire like crazy and the guy has only played two games.

When he started against LSU, in the bowl game, he completed 12/15 passes for only 96 yards. He was hitting a lot of short and simple passes. If I'm Texas I stack the box, bring pressure and tell the corners to press and see if Zaire can beat us long.

The key is taking away Zaire's ability to run. If we can shut down Zaire on the ground I think we have a shot to win this game.
