Thought I'd stop over this morning and just say what a helluva game last night.

For those that don't know, I run the EersAuthority.com site that partners up with HornSports. I must say we've formed a solid relationship and have enjoyed the work, banter, and overall fun this past week.

We're excited to sneak out with a win but also know the feeling of falling just short. Anyway, great game - we enjoyed it - and if you'd like to read some of our thoughts on the game you can at link below.

Jon, it was an amazing game and one that gave fans of both teams something to look forward to in the future. I think we might have the making of a good rivalry between the two schools. There were some tense moments on the field between the two schools and there was plenty of trash-talking at the tailgates and on campus but it is all part of the thing that makes college football great. West Virginia fans showed up in full-force to Austin and mingled at the tailgates... it was a blast.

Looking forward to hopefully squaring-up with WVU next year in Morgantown! I'll say this about West Virginia - The defense is horrific but with the Geno Smith-led offense, this team could do great things this year. We have our own issues to deal with on defense but I think Texas is still poised for a highly successful season as well.
