I know he rubs certain people the wrong way but I always like his honesty. 

Patterson was asked how his offense has progressed. Patterson answered, "We played Samford and then a Big Ten team."  

The slight at the Big Ten is funny but I can respect a man that doesn't hype up wins against horrible opponents.

B1G's got problems - people are moving out of the Rust Belt in droves; bad weather, lost manufacturing jobs, suffocating taxes, etc.

I just hope we don't see two SEC teams in the 4-team playoff.  FSU, Oregon, and BU/OU should qualify - even with one loss.
