*****GAME THREAD: No. 10 Texas @ No. 5 Georgia*****

These refs . . . they might as well wear red and black

– 9 games into the season, we're still getting penalites like crazy. Little discipline

– Georgia's OL holds every play. Sometimes right in front of the ref.

– The drops are killing us.

– Defense needs to tighten it up, both run and pass.

– We look defeated already. Need to get our head right.

Penalties and drops are killing us.

Pete K playing soft the first two drives gave them 14 pts

Arch and run game are delivering but no other support.

Pass to Endries and Mosely all day. Wingo end around isn’t worjing against GA speed.

How different this game would look if the receivers would catch the ball.
And I think Roberson has been penalized at least 3 times this year on kick returns costing us a ton of yards and field position.

We probably shouldn’t even be in this game. Our level execution is that of a very poorly coached team. We can’t catch the ball, we can’t convert third downs, and most importantly, we commit the highest number of penalties of almost any team in football. That points to a problem with the coaching and it has become obvious that Steve Sarkisian cannot fix it.

We can still win this game, but I don’t have high hopes. I’m just so disgusted by the pathetic execution. Essentially, Arch has had no help.

The poor coaching is a recurring theme. We’ve been very undisciplined under Sark despite the elite talent all around. It’s the difference between a championship team and a good team.

It’s that lack of discipline that has lost us more games than a difference in talent.

Smart continues his owning of Sark. Georgia defense knows what to expect and is as sure tackling of any defense in the country.

It’s amazing how we have to execute a play perfectly to get 5-15 yards. If we don’t, Georgia makes us pay. They are so disciplined and know what we want to do.

This is such a grind for our offense. We can’t break their defense.

Smart and Day are elite. We have a good coach not an elite coach. Not yet. Feels like Stoops’ ownage of Mack early 2000s.
