Houston Heights will square off against Lamar on Saturday, Oct. 21 at 1 pm at Delmar Stadium. Texas commits Jalen Green  will face Texas Targets Anthony Cook and D’shawn Jamison and Texas commit Alvonte Woodard.
There will be a ton of talent on the field in Delmar that day.
Jamison is set to announce his commitment on Oct. 14. He is expected to pick Texas. Reports suggest Texas also leads for Cook.

Defense, Anyone?
Texas Safety commit BJ Foster is making all kinds of noise this year on the offensive side of the ball. Whether its rushing or receiving or passing, he’s been an integral part of the Wildcat offense this year. The offense has put up the points this year, scoring 70 last week, 66, 63, 49 and 31 in games this year.
Nevertheless, the defense is making its own statement this year. And who hears that these days of high octane offenses?
To date, Angelton has only surrendered 14 points, and that came in two games. Roseberg Terry scored 7 last week while Westside scored a TD in week 3.

i was wondering if there were any texas targets on allen's team.  i have a sideline pass and will be at the game this friday.  i'll try to get some pictures of these guys.  what are their numbers?

Rotty, I'd love to hear your thoughts on these two after you've seen them play.

Texarkana Pleasant Grove at Gilmer is a big game for East Texas Friday night. The winner of this game will probably win district.  Do not be surprised if Gilmer loses this game. PG has a really good team this year with potentially 3 D1 players. This should be a great game.

i had an opportunity to see them play last week but chose not to.  allen played plano west.  plano west is not a good team this year.  on friday plano senior travels to allen.  that should be a good game.  plano senior has a couple of running backs that are pretty fast.  i'll be at the plano east vs allen game on nov 3rd.  so i'll get another look at these guys then too.

there is also an OG that Texas is looking at for allen.  what is his number?

  • EJ Ndoma-Ogar — 4-star OG — Allen

i found it:  75

there are pictures of him on maxpreps.  looks like he played at IMG last year and now at allen.....  his parents just happen to move to allen from florida????

I will try my best to be at that game.

No one mentioned the Dangerfield- DeKalb game. Number one RB in the nation in rushing yards will be trying out Dangerfields defence.

No one mentioned the Dangerfield- DeKalb game. Number one RB in the nation in rushing yards will be trying out Dangerfields defence.
The kid is averaging 33 carries and almost 400 yards each game.

194 carries for 1944 yards with 34 touchdowns through 6 games this year for DeKalb.

His name is Jaquan Jackson. He's a good back.

But those numbers need to be taken with a grain of salt. The competition he's faced so far has been nominal at best. This will be the first team he's played against that attempts to play defense.

The problem he and DeKalb will have is that DF will zero in on the one back. They'll basically say we're going to tackle this guy every play, beat us some other way. And frankly, Dekalb has never shown they can do that. It's been the Jackson show thus far.

This game will tell everyone a lot about Jackson. I think he's legit so I expect he'll get 150 to 200 yards on the night, and I'm a Daingerfield homer. I'd say something like Daingerfield 48, DeKalb 31.

What makes the Pleasant Grove-Gilmer game so interesting is that Pleasant Grove has a very good defense, perhaps the best Gilmer has seen all season. That one should be a dandy.
