More Texas commits open their seasons this week. No AP poll this week since no games were played in Texas HS football.

3. De'Gabriel Floyd Westlake (Westlake Village, CA) vs. Mission Hills, Friday, Aug. 24, 7 p.m. at Mission Hills (San Marcos, CA)
In win over Sierra Canyon, Floyd had a 50 yd punt return. Floyd was only ruled eligible to play 48 hours before game time, due to transfer rules in California.
4. Jake Smith Notre Dame Preparatory (Scottsdale, AZ) vs Phoenix Sunnyslope, Friday, Aug. 24, 7 p.m. at Notre Dame Prep.
In the win over Fairfax last week, Smith had five touchdowns, three receiving and two rushing in a dominant performance. Smith was held out the second half.

Against Woodrow Wilson in the opening game, Adimora had three touchdowns – a 62 yard punt return, a 96-yard interception return, and 58-yard reception. However, penalties wiped out the first two.
