And???? You’d be willingly accepting a subpar year again....something Texas should never do in any sportNo because you'd have to pay the new coach his salary also.

I've stated several times that while I'm not backing Shaka, I just don't think Texas cares enough basketball to spend that much money to fire him. I could be wrong, it's just my opinion. And???? You’d be willingly accepting a subpar year again....something Texas should never do in any sport
Different AD now. I think he’ll talk the donors into itI've stated several times that while I'm not backing Shaka, I just don't think Texas cares enough basketball to spend that much money to fire him. I could be wrong, it's just my opinion.
Is it subpar or just a normal for Texas basketball? pAnd???? You’d be willingly accepting a subpar year again....something Texas should never do in any sport
Finished 6th place in conference. Beard has had one good year. They beat us 2 out of 2.
Let’s just say Rick Barnes wasn’t this badIs it subpar or just a normal for Texas basketball? p
Thats one more good year than Shaka had. Are you suggesting Beard isn't a good coach? Seriously?Finished 6th place in conference. Beard has had one good year.
You're shallow in your thinking.Texas averaged 74 points a game
Tech averaged 72 points a game.
Texas shot 45% on the season
Tech shot 43% on the season
Texas 3 point shooting 35.58%
Tech 3 point shooting 35.37%
Yeah lets replace Shaka with Beard...
I disagree. I believe he's gone. That was the worst UT basketball loss that I can remember.I've stated several times that while I'm not backing Shaka, I just don't think Texas cares enough basketball to spend that much money to fire him. I could be wrong, it's just my opinion.
This is the most realistic possibility out there - and I would be thrilled.John Beilien doesn’t have a buyout. Runs a good offense.
I’ve been on the “keep Shaka bus” for sometime. But I think I’ve finally bailed. There are three good reasons for Texas to retain Shaka Smart

In all fairness.... they made the NCAA finals a couple years ago.You must not watch many of Techs games. They were awful.
Based on the attendance at games... this may be a solid point.I've stated several times that while I'm not backing Shaka, I just don't think Texas cares enough basketball to spend that much money to fire him. I could be wrong, it's just my opinion.
