I realize he is committed to an enemy, but 2015 DT Daylon Mack was lined up as a wildcat quarterback tonight for Gladewater. All 6-2, 315 pounds of him. As a defensive back/linebacker when he blasts up the middle, you have to make a decision about your future. I probably would not get in his way.

Saw him play against Bullard a few weeks ago, didn't have any tackles in first half. They did line him up in wildcat and he picked up a first down

A lot of people aren't nearly as high on him as they once were. He seems to have bought into his own hype.

Interesting stuff. He had a 13-yard carry later. Handed it off the first time. It's like when people play DeSoto though. They don't even try to run the ball up the middle on English. There is no point. English cannot be blocked at the high school level. He would be in my Top 10 players in the state in 2015. UT is going to love that guy. I see him a Trey up the middle in the future. Trey is another good one.

Say, scottstradamus...why aren't more kids coming out of the Amarillo area? I keep seeing all these recruits from much smaller towns and wonder. Yep, that's where I'm from originally, but can't figure why the athletes don't often go beyond the D2's or smaller programs.

I wondered that myself, and all over west Texas. Odessa, Midland, Lubbock, and El Paso all have good players. Gulf Coast is another place. These places have players but for whatever reason, they are downgraded for some reason? The perception is that there is not great football out there, which is absolutely not true. I would love to get more into west Texas. There is a 2014 OL at Permian I would like to find out more about. On of these days I hope to change that. There is another player at Canyon that people seem to talk about. But I can't find any more information. Dylan Douglass is his name.

Sorry for typo. He made an unofficial to UT, so obviously there is some validity to it. Then there is the Triston Crossland thing, the Calallen kid. Shortage of TEs in Texas this season.

Its a pilgrimage to get out there and see them, that doesnt help. Its about 8 hours to go see a kid like Ben Arbuckle from Canadian, who should be on the radars of a ton of Non AQ schools but isn't.

Tennessee was in to watch Ben Arbuckle last night. And they need a QB.

Saw that on his dads Twitter but I saw your "keep it quiet" thing first. I'm not going to say anthing negative about Blake Bogenschultz from Carthage going to UTSA. He is a fine QB, but I feel like UTSA led Arbuckle on like he was some prom night plan B and then pulled the rug out from under him.

Of all the kids Ive chatted with, he is #2 on my list of ones I pray get that offer and go on to do great things.
