Haines comment's were interesting about his parents and A&M.  I interpreted them to mean that when he graduated, they were already aware of issues in College Station.  That may or may not be true.

LOL!  Not really.  Both of Haines parents graduated from Texas and his dad played with Bedford at Texas.  He wasn't going to OU OR TAMU - if they could help it.

Malik is ours to lose, and he has to be impressed with our defense as well as the opportunity to start from day one. Really would be shocked if we can't pull it off.

I would love it if we could get back in on Guice. He looks like an instant impact player.

Guice is just taking advantage, like many others, of free trips.  He may as well have LSU tattooed on his forehead - he ain't leaving LSU.  I think Strong knows this is a waste of time and why he hasn't offered him.

What most people don't know about OV's is how much fun these kids have on them.  Of course they have the hard sell put on them and get to tour the facilities.  They can be impressed by this for sure.  But it's the swag, food and parties they like the most.  Actually what they like the most are the girls - and they are interfaced with PLENTY of them.  And, for the ladies on this board, that doesn't mean the girls are sleeping with them (although this was the case at Miami and the women there were paid professionals).  But what 17 or 18 year old kid is not going to be impressed with a 21 or 22 year old beautiful co-ed, that is a lot more mature and a lot more savvy than these kids?  Then to take in 6th street or NOLA with these ladies and their recruitment is a done deal. 

You think this doesn't happen? Don't be naive.
