If you lived in the Bay Area, he would love your store! He's very green and earth friendly.Ok, it might help her if we listed things we would like for Christmas this year. I didn't ask for these, but they are things I'd like . . . in no special order
1. A new handgun, preferably a .44
2. The last gun I wanted in my collection, a Marlin 30-30 lever action rifle.
3. New boots
4. New fixed blade knife with leather holster. Made the mistake of loaning mine a couple weeks back. It never came back. I weep, it was totally hand-made.
...two items shall suffice...Good thinking!
Sports nut, vegetarian (started after college for ethical reasons), into collecting sports cards, likes reading, thoughtful guy but time management nonexistent and unorganized. I purchased him a file cabinet already as a Christmas gift but for selfish reasons. Another gift to make up for my selfish purchase would be ideal.
Last year, I got him an UCLA authentic helmet and he thought that was the best gift ever.
I considered a Stanford (he attended grad school there) helmet this year but seems redundant.
Thanks guys for the help! I hate shopping!
Great idea! Always love your posts Monarch!...two items shall suffice...
1. since he likes to read a lot - head to barnes & noble, acquire a gift card so that he may choose his own books
2. how about an oversized authentic jersey to accommodate that cool helmet - he could always wear it to his favorite sports bar etc...
...need more help, don't hesitate to ask...
...u r more than welcome. this was fun...Great idea! Always love your posts Monarch!
My man is so old school! He doesn't even have internet at his place nor cable tv! He's only 40! I'm 31. He has a flip phone too!Does he have a Kindle Fire HD? My wife reads a lot and she loves it. There are quite a few ebooks on the kindle store that are free or really cheap...in the 1 to 2 dollar range. She has read books on there that she wouldn't have given a chance in the store.
Damn somebody needs to tell him the Internet is full of free porn! He'll upgrade real quick! LolMy man is so old school! He doesn't even have internet at his place nor cable tv! He's only 40! I'm 31. He has a flip phone too!
He's also cheap!!! We usually watch games at a bar or my place.I'm confused. How can one be a "sports nut," w/o cable or WiFi?
Ok, that's out of the way.![]()
Here's a link from a quick Craigslist search on Sports Cards in San Fran; For sale large collection of playing and sports cards
There are many entries under sports cards. Maybe you get him a collection from someone who's selling.
Old school, unorganized, this man needs a Trapper Keeper.![]()
Maybe you get him a book about cooking vegetarian meals/dishes. Amazon and Barnes & Noble have several titles available.
