Down to the 3rd string QB in Houston, I'm not concerned about making the playoffs but can TJ Yates do anything IN the playoffs or are the Texans doomed regardless of their opponent?

Texans are having a helluva season even with Schaub out. I think tomorrow's game against Atlanta will be a good gauge of capacity. Yates showed talent at North Carolina but I fear they will get waxed by whomever they face in the first round. Will be good experience for him - which the Texans desperately need because Schaub is not a spring chicken nor is he the definition of a franchise qb. Would like to see the Texans draft RG3.

Yates = decent but not that good. Texans defense = GREAT. Andre Johnson = Yao Ming part II.

TJ did just fine against Atlanta. He was fortunate that former Texan Dunte Robinson bailed him out with the holding call on that pick 6 he threw. It was good experience for him to face a better team than he did in J-ville. I think they clinch the division this weekend with a win over Cincy and the Saints beating the Titans. RG3 would be a nice pick up.

I am happy for the Texans! They are really playing some great football and Yates is proving to be a decent little qb. You going to try and head to a game at Reliant?
