Probally means he was told he would not be offered and was given a chance to save face by declaring his love for all things Baylor. Which implies we are getting closer to a final selection/agreement. Briles may have been wonderful for UT but personally glad he is staying at Baylor. Our conference needs good teams other than just Texas.

After watching that absolutely horribly terrible game he coached against UCF I did not want him anymore... Not cause they lost but because his team has zero discipline. During that game I learned the Bears are the most penalized team in college ball and to highlight that his team went for 18 penalties for 135 yards, including 3 PI's on 3rd down that immediately turned into UCF TDs. I don't like that lack of discipline. His team saw adversity and crumbled completely.
