Beard is done

I'm done. I'm not going to argue the law with a Libtard.
I’m not a liberal. Not all guilty people have been found guilty in court. That’s my argument. If you have been found guilty you might not be, and if you were found not guilty you might be guilty. Only God and you know. And you have to answer to him someday. Your argument is the liberal argument. There is no perfect human institution.

As Tom Herman would say, wives are really, really smart and winning an argument with them is really, really hard.
Wait a second, you've won an argument with your wife before? Man, and so many people after your historic post missed that!

Ok you are on the beach and you find a bucket....you pick it up and start walking....a kid starts screaming....he says you stole it....

It doesn't matter what the facts are or what the laws of salvage state...you ain't winning no argument of maritime law with a 5 year old...

Beard is screwed...

I always get in the last word with my wife.   It’s “Yes dear.”   But I do get in the last word!
I know there isn't an icon on this site that is suitable for this comment. But there should be one. Well done. Lol, Roflmao??

Personally, based on what has been released to date, I'd say the University need to cut ties.

However, since the University has essentially said nothing, and considering her recent statement, I'm wondering if they're trying to suspend him without pay for the season, send them to counseling, and try to bring him back next season. Not saying I agree with that, but it sure seems more likely each day that passes and he's not fired.

I would guess the University is investigating this from multiple angles to figure out if he can be retained without damaging the brand.  If this was just an isolated incident and no pattern is found and no abusive behavior within the program. Then your counseling rehab program sounds very reasonable. If this turns out to be part of  pattern of how he treats woman in general,  then he should be gone.

Honestly, I hope I'm wrong. Like I said, I think we need to cut ties. I'm just hoping they're figuring out the contract situation behind the scenes and reaching out to agents for other coaches.

I agree.  Both paragraphs.

Strangely....I don't. The issue toe is...based on what we have seen so far.....

If the evidence comes out that he whacked her just to whack her....can his ass and don't look back.

I just don't like the idea of canning someone over press reports.
I agree, oldhorn.  It is so easy to say, “just fire him”.  Unfortunately the effects can be devastating to the individual and their family.

When did someone’s livelihood become irrelevant?  His career disposable?  If he threw it away, I understand, but if he is innocent, surely The University that I have supported financially and emotionally is strong enough to withstand a few darts. If not, I want to find out now.

My University should do the honorable thing, and support Beard if he is innocent and caught in a bad situation. If he is guilty, then he needs to step up and accept the consequences, naive, yes. Honorable, absolutely.

I would be shocked if UT failed to do an exhaustive background check on Beard before he was hired, and turned up absolutely nothing.

It’s time to watch the Alamo Bowl when this track meet is over.  Do OU and FSU spell defense, No!
