Bama boards

Thought:UT Coaches told they will not be retained....How could this be unless there is a coach already in play. MB doesn't have a voice in saying they won't be retained.

who has been told?

Lol at y'all buying the saban talk again.
What I find far more interesting is the fact that Bama people are apparently thinking this way.

They have a HC with a newly signed extension - and this STILL happens.

So either Bama fans are their own worst enemy, or there's something to it.

I would love Nick Saban. He's the GOAT.

But I think John Harbaugh would be the best fit long term. And he could be had by the first week of January assuming the Ravens don't make the playoffs like I don't think they will.

I think there's something to what you're saying here. Normally, that's not a given.

I'm sure it's just Steve Patterson making the choice/decision to start fresh. Highly doubt that the "new coach" has already decided not to retain any of our current coaches..

Well, so far they are just still laughing at us and discussing how delusional and egotistical we are. They are offering their own side to the way events played out and to be honest some of what they are saying makes as much sense as what our insiders have said/been saying.

That's not a Patterson call.

I wish it was Saban but it is going to be someone noone even thought about. Well, it probably will be someone that has been mentioned but I think more along the lines of Briles, Strong or Franklin. Just my opinion.

I visit a couple of Bama sites a few times a day. Ignore the posters. Read carefully what their moderators and admins say. When they start expressing concern, then you know things are hot.

As far as the buyout is concerned===

Saban didn't have to demand a non-buyout clause. That would be automatic.

Saban can walk whenever he wants to, which is why they were so damned worried 10 days ago.

Bama won't really rest easy until Texas signs a coach---not named Saban.

They may not get to rest at all then!
