The Stoops Brothers have been reunited in what can only be seen as an epic novel of gaydom.Sorry to be non-pc but I hope we beat the hell out of these clowns this season.

It is never too early to start the hype. Saw where the Big XII coaches were ranked according to Athlon Sports and since we are talking about the Stooge brothers here is the complete list (http://www.athlonsports.com/college-football/ranking-big-12s-college-football-coaches):

1. Bob Stoops, Oklahoma (13 years)

2. Gary Patterson, TCU (12 years)

3. Mike Gundy, Oklahoma State (7 years)

4. Mack Brown, Texas (14 years)

5. Bill Snyder, Kansas State (20 years) *** Includes Cryogenically Frozen Years ***

6. Art Briles, Baylor (4 years)

7. Paul Rhoads, Iowa State (3 Years)

8. Dana Holgorsen, West Virginia (1 year)

9. Tommy Tuberville, Texas Tech (2 years)

10. Charlie Weis, Kansas (First year)

Thoughts?

If anything Patterson is the best coach in the conference. I also think Briles is better than 6th. HE has done wonders with the Baylor program.

I know I may be biased here, but there is no way that Gary Patterson and Mike Gundy are better than Mack. Overall body of work needs to be taken into account.

Personally I think Patterson is a hell of a coach. He did play in the WAC and C-USA so it is not that surprising he has a good record. Let's see how he does in Big XII country with better recruits, etc. Mack is Mack. 'Nuff Said!

Booby Stoops is getting fat in his old age. Getting lazy. Gundy is making a charge up in the coaching ranks but like you I am perplexed that Mack is at #4. No national titles for anyone on the list except Brown and Stoops. Tuberville was screwed out of his shot but Brown should at least be #2.
