One of the longer Saban to UT guys who has been 100% Saban to UT for awhile, zzzizzzyyy from IT, is sticking to his guns. Not going to copy and paste it but he's saying Patterson is a Saban guy and Saban will be pulling strings at UT through Patterson

Now I'm waiting for a magic loogy post to make me feel better

As I have said, Saban was very frustrated with the manner in which Hicks/Hall handled the affair.

The Patterson hire is going to be good to us on several fronts.

Real or not, my concern is that a guy like Saban may just say "F that" to all the rumors and comments flying around and stay put - just to show he's in charge. Still think he would secretly love to be the first guy to win NC's at three different universities. He already has a statue in Tuscaloosa (which would likely be dowsed with pesticide if he were to leave...they don't know the difference between wood and bronze in ALA).

ive said it on OB many times...if you want saban you go and get patterson...ive had some conversations with a very well known poster on IT, and we've come up with the same info...so somwhere along the lines its lining up...now is it gonna happen, i truly dont know..but i wouldnt bet against it either right now..

I don't care who the new coach is right now. I just want the hell the is Longhorn football to end. I just want Mack to announce his retirement. I want him gone.

Kinda how I feel too, but if/when Mack does announce his retirement, I will be incredibly concerned about who we are going to hire.
