So divisive that they won the Big 12 and are now in the Softball CWS championship?

In some cases, yes, I can see this being a locker room problem. I think Sark is working hard to avoid that at Texas but Canady at Tech has clearly not caused any issues.
The key word is "this" year. Did everyone on the team know what she was making at the beginning of the season?

You have to wonder what the other top players on the team are going to want next year. Pitchers are the QB of softball, but you need offense too. The top hitter on the team might ask for a million next year. Without her could they make another run?

My opinion is if you try to buy the championship, you'll end up like the Cowboys--overpaid good players. Sark is doing it right. If you want money now, go somewhere else. If you want to develop and make your money later, in the NFL, come here. 🤘 Texas needs to keep this philosophy and we will always be near the top, if not at the top, of a lot of sports.

You have to ask yourself, would you rather be the Rolling Stones or Wreckless Eric.

"Out of this weekend. I would be very surprised if Texas walked away empty handed." Gerry Hamilton.
Isnt there a silent still out there? I remember some indication it could've been Like Waffle from NJ. Not sure if remembering that correctly though

How many years of school, internship, clerking, etc, before one gets to become a lawyer and earn the big bucks?

Right out of high school?

I'm not angry. But I don't have to be to see this is getting out of hand. 7 to 9 million for someone who hasn't played a down of football above a high school level? lol. Something SHOULD seem out of whack there.
Son just completed his first year of Law School. Two more years to go. It will be his third degree from UT and he will be 33 coming out of Law School

Expects the firm he is interning with to start him off at $220K per year minimum. In 10 years, making partner, he can be looking at seven figures a year. That’s working a lot more than just 40 hours a week.

Far cry from just graduating from high school and making a seven figure salary.

I know you must be proud. Good for him.
