Honestly, not many insiders that we'd get him. We had a chance, but only a chance. We were not leading.

The Sharma thing is kinda stinging as we were thought to be in the driver's seat there until Oregon showed up flailing their tits at him.

We were more than leading. The Alabama and Texas staffs were called the night before and were told Texas was the pick.

As much as I am trying to be really worried about losing out on these last 2 committs and at DT overall I keep coming back to the fact that it ain't over until signing day and there are still really good prospects out there in addition to the portal if needed. I think we will be just fine when KB gets some miles under him here and lets' check and see how our defense is holding up during the season compared with FSU, Oregon, etc... just have a positive feeling still don't bash me too bad lol

I agree so no bashing here. It happens every year that someone we're leading for goes somewhere else and we end up getting someone who was supposed to go somewhere else.

He's pushed his commitment date back and plans to be in Baton Rouge at the end of July.

Not surprised Sharma went somewhere else, didn't Oregon thou. Yes NIL. Myron Charles was more of disappointment. We were never strong consideration for a top CB. I can give Baker pass but Gideon & Terry Joseph.

I don't know. Anyone who picks a school because of $$$ may not be someone we want. Where is there loyalty going to be? What happens if they bust or next year someone gets more money than them? I see a potential for headaches with these kids. I like Sark's policy. Just win and keep putting players in the NFL and the recruiting will take care of itself.
