WR Kaliq Lockett has set his decision date for August 7th.

As he's said before, Nahlin at IT reiterated it's best case scenario for Texas if Lockett jumps in the class first and his commitment should be before both Ffrench and Moore.

Ffrench is scheduled for August 30th, and Moore is thought to be before his senior season begins.

From what Gerry said this morning I would put him as a slight lean towards okie. He seems to like the off field diversions up there. Small town guy I guess.

I think they described this as being more similar to a portal recruitment that will come down to the 11th hour. I took this to mean that he is shopping his NIL value and this makes sense with what was said about A&M making him a lot of promises that helped them get back in things.

Seems like he likes Texas best from a football perspective. I'm sure Texas will take care of him in regards to NIL. This staff has also shown that they won't blow up the NIL market for any one player.
