Gerry said today we're looking good for Brandon Baker, thinks we are one of his two finalists. Says he will announce at end of September.

Also saw that they don't think McKinley can play as a freshman, that he needs some level of development before he gets on the field. You don't normally hear that about most 5-stars.

I certainly wouldn't say that.

Ethan Downs and Rondell Bothroyd are solid at DE.  They need help in the middle but their transfer portal guys likely help. 
 

they also have Adebawore who’s a freak athlete as a frosh.  David Stone is committed to them and I’m still not counting them out for Nwaneri despite that Missouri state NIL thing he’s just milking.   
 

if we can land McKinley tomorrow it probably pushes back to us but they are no slouch.  But we aren’t as ahead on the D-line as y’all seem to think we are.   
 

Now their team?  It’ll still suck Bc OU sucks but their D-line is likely their strength this year.

Mom fell for the Jimbo used car salesman act I guess.  What a joke.  Aggy is doing exactly what they always say about Texas:  bringing in high rated classes year after year and getting mediocre results (or in last years case, a losing record).
