Hansen struggles with the top of the ECU order

Leadoff walk, bunt single, single into RF, PB scores a run & puts 2 RISP, then a 2 RBI single.

ECU up 3-2 thru 1 complete

ECU has 4 good hitters at the top of the order, after than, pretty pedestrian.  Hansen needs to settle down and regroup.

Hansen really struggling.  He has piped two FBs this frame, one for a 2R HR and one for an Double.  RBI single with 2 outs gives ECU a 6-2 lead thru 4 complete

Faltine took that 3rd strike right down the middle, not sure what he was complaining about.

I missed the top half of the first when Texas scored their runs so I'll take one for the team and turn off my TV.

Gives up a 1-out walk and a 2-out walk

Stehly makes a circus catch at the RF bullpen fence to get the final out as he flips over the fence into the pen and hangs on to the ball.

ECU starter is done, new RHP comes in.

B2B 1 out singles put runners on 1&2, and ECU goes back to the pen.

Seems like a dumb idea after going 5-7 last year.

Seems like a dumb idea after going 5-7 last year.

Started it after Sean Allen got nailed with a foul ball. Coincided with Texas getting hot late in the season, so it seems to be working.
