Several sites saying Texas is not expected to sign a RB tomorrow.

However, OrangeBloods mentioned RB Logan Diggs from Metairie, LA as a guy the staff has been monitoring since his Notre Dame verbal is shaky.

I’m not saying this against the kid from LA but I would rather us keep the scholarships for the future rather than sign kids this year who might not be exactly what we are looking for in a player.

I agree with you somewhat.....but , yeah aggy beat Florida and Auburn last year.....but so did lots of other teams. They had 8 losses between them.My point is that the mighty secsecsec does not show so well when they dont have records fattened up by small college cream puffs...

aggy won the games they were supposed to and a couple they weren't. Wished Texas could have done that. The Big XII did go 5-0 in bowls, the $ec went 7-2. Like it or not, aggy was a very decent team last year.

Can't believe I had to defend aggy. I feel dirty now, time to go take a shower.

IT mentioned today the new staff reached out to WR Quay Davis of Dallas Skyline recently to kick the tires.

He's expected to sign with Kansas tomorrow.

TFB said yesterday that Chris Gilbert HC of Lancaster is expected to be the new director of HS relations, would be ginormous for Dallas crootin' imo. He is the sitting president of the THSCA.

Is this the same Chris Gilbert who was a star back at Texas?

Texas needs all the allies they can get in South Dallas.

Man!....I will never forget his debut game . We were all buzzing to see Bill Bradley play his first game....Bradley had been on the cover of SI before ever playing a Varsity game....but the star of the game was this guy I had never heard of....Chris Gilbert. It seemed like every time ole Bill handed him the ball he just hauled ass. I was sure he had run for about 900 yds that game! Then again, I was damned drunk by the 3rd quarter.....

Yes, but I can't remember. Was that a game Florida wanted to play or not. They don't count the games if Florida doesn't want to play, like the bowl game vs. OU. It can be a little confusing. 

allow me to help you out...it is simple really....

If aTm wins then the game was a top priority to the other guys and they played their best game of the year.

if aTm loses, then the game was irrelevant to aggy and they did not need to win. Also the other team played out of their minds.

Bottom line....if aggy is playing any team, that team is highly motivated. If anyone else is playing that same team, then that team could care less about the game.
