I think what is happening is that someone likes Kate.
We are less than a week from signing day and have like 9 spots to fill.  I could post a Kate and probably look smart.

Not slamming SHA.  His accuracy is documented.

Went to work this morning and as far as I knew LJ was trending UT.  Get home and everything changed.  Is it really going back nad forth like this?  Plus, now reporting Drayton may move on.  Sounds like Aggy causing disarray to get LJ. I'm kidding, but I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case.

Keep in mind, aggy manufactures their own hype. So you may well be right about the disarray thing.

At this point, it doesn't matter to me what he does. I'm not up for the roller coaster ride.

aggy got the benefit of a beyond belief weak schedule this year. They only played 3 teams that lost less than 4 games this year. Even so, they won when they were supposed to which we did not do. Hopefully this new staff will change that.I dont know who aggy plays next year, but they should find a little tougher sledding....

Seriously.....if we take care of business the way we are supposed to do it wont matter what anyone else does. I want us to change from were Texas to We're Texas!
aggy beat Florida at home and Auburn on the road, both games I'd thought they lose. Easy schedule or not, they had a decent team last year and are reaping the benefits of it. This year they'll be w/o the QB and several of their O-linemen (probably best part of their team last year) so I suspect they'll have a few more losses.

Will Johnson Be Joining Aggies or Longhorns?

A 4-star running back out of Cy-Fair High School in Cypress, Texas, LJ Johnson will be the top-ranked recruit announcing his college decision on national signing day. He's the No. 45 overall recruit in the 2021 class, per 247Sports' composite rankings, and the No. 4 running back.

Johnson is staying in-state to attend college, but he's still deciding between two schools: Texas and Texas A&M. The Aggies were one of the top teams in the country during the 2020 season, but the Longhorns could be an enticing option after hiring former Alabama offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian as head coach.

If Johnson heads to Texas A&M, Jeff Tarpley of 247Sports believes the 5' 10", 204-pound running back will quickly be able to contribute to the Aggies because of his "physicality and ability to catch the ball." And who wouldn't want to play for a side that finished last season as the No. 4-ranked team in the country?

Texas may have made a late push, but it won't be enough as Johnson will end up signing with Texas A&M, which the 247Sports Crystal Ball has as the favorite to land him.

Don't be surprised if he gets on the field for the Aggies quickly, either.

Prediction: Johnson signs with Texas A&M

I agree with you somewhat.....but , yeah aggy beat Florida and Auburn last year.....but so did lots of other teams. They had 8 losses between them.My point is that the mighty secsecsec does not show so well when they dont have records fattened up by small college cream puffs...

TFB said yesterday that Chris Gilbert HC of Lancaster is expected to be the new director of HS relations, would be ginormous for Dallas crootin' imo. He is the sitting president of the THSCA.
That's great news right there.

Texas needs all the allies they can get in South Dallas.

Yes, but I can't remember. Was that a game Florida wanted to play or not. They don't count the games if Florida doesn't want to play, like the bowl game vs. OU. It can be a little confusing.
