Is McCoy signing with Texas? 95 % no so it was a waste of time

Every school including Texas puts out more offers that they can sign. You're not going to get them all. Building relationships and pipelines takes time. No fruit to bear if Bru stays in Cali, but setting the roots and expanding the brand is hardly wasting time.

Texas allocates resources to guys they don’t sign every cycle. They have made a very credible push in this recruitment for months now. In recruiting you win some and you lose some. I’m never going to fault a staff for swinging for the fences a bonafide stud.

This. And even if Texas does miss out on Bru, they’ve done well establishing a presence out West for future cycles. It wasn’t a lost cause by any stretch. 

In addition to that. Texas didn't do so bad at all establishing there blueprint out West. They really made a statement

Looks like the staff will elect to save some ships for the 2020 class unless someone elite wants in. 

Seems like Texas is in contact with some JUCO OL guys. Looks like they want to take one.

I'm going to give you benefit of the doubt and say that you are smarter than that.

 No based off my logic I’m saying Texas pursuing a highly sought after recruit such as McCoy who has been a USC fan his whole life and lives not too far from the campus/stadium and goes to the #1 powerhouse in Cali Mater Dei would actually consider coming to Texas was far fetched

It's funny to see Liucci and Hamm tweet out every negative tweet they can dig up and find about Texas right now.  They are worried, and know that Herman is going to land most of the 2020 in-state studs.
