Five-star DT wants to see nine wins from Texas
Winning is the simple answer to everything.
Texas has landed two highly ranked recruiting classes under head coach Charlie Strong, but in order to keep the momentum going, the Longhorns must produce on the field this season.
Five-star defensive tackle Marvin Wilson told Horns247 that he specifically wants to see UT win nine games.
“They have to win,†Wilson said. “That’s all they have to do. They have to win. I would say nine wins. If they can make it to nine wins, they would be in the discussion big time, especially as a kid that grew up watching Texas.â€
Wilson is one of Texas' most important targets in the 2017 class. He is currently considering UT, Alabama, LSU, Ole Miss, Florida State and a handful of other major programs.
At 6-foot-4, 329 pounds, Wilson is ranked as the No. 1 defensive tackle in the country and No. 1 overall prospect in the nation, according to 247Sports Composite.
