2015 Recruiting Season is in full swing

From a poster on another site. Mod at that site confirmed in a response.

"Great news to come.  Only I know and you will know when it happens.  Just hold on."

I'm thinking they're talking about a silent commit, one that we're supposedly written off now. And I think his name is Daylon Mack.
And I'm thinking you may be right.

But I think you would be better served to think about the QB position.

Just saying. ;)

So now Higdon is posting on other sites :D

Good lord, out with it already. What is this "amazing surprise" we have all be promised now, better be good before everyone sentences this poster to a date with coach Moore in the pit.

Gang sign.  :P

Houston rappers also use that for H-town.  Horns up but back of hand out.

...and don't forget that aggie painted these gang-signs on their new barber shop's wall! FYI - the other one is for "Louisiana".

Kai Locksley on his upcoming visit --

“I’m basically taking it in stride and step by step.  If that were something to come to mind, it would be something that would be something I came to realization with during the visit. Going into the visit I want to stay open minded, but I’m still very committed to Florida State.â€

“If I see the things that I need to see during the visit then I will reassess my decision afterwards."

“I’m going to do it a lot similar to my commitment in the summer.  I’m going to talk to my parents, talk to my coaches, talk to both schools and give them a little bit of an idea what’s going on in my head so they aren’t blindsided come signing day and we will just go from there.â€

Nick Brossette on his upcoming visit --

“Just being around the players and the coaches. Just how I get along with all of them.â€

“I don’t talk about my commitment, I keep it between my family and I.  LSU is still home, but I’m seeing what else is out there and just making some visits. It’s just LSU and Texas right now. That’s really about it.â€

DeShon Elliott may visit Austin the same weekend due to Brossette.  The two became friends at their all-star game.

Dont know if anyone recalls this guy -- Prince Tega Wanogho Jr.  He is a special case (6'8, 250-pounder from Nigeria).  We already offered.  We look to be short of spots but he is graduating early.  He is a 4-star and projects as a SSDE.  it is not completely inconceivable - redshirt then sit another year, takeover for Vasser his RS Sophomore year.

"He has enough credits to graduate this year based on transcripts from Nigeria.  He's decided to reclassify to this year. He knows he'll probably have to redshirt." -- said his coach Bobby Carr (Edgewood).

Here is a good article on him if interested http://www.montgomeryadvertiser.com/story/sports/high-school/football/2014/12/24/edgewoods-junior-instant-football-star/20881157/

2016 TE/DE Prince Tega Junior (6'8,250, runs 4.6s)

Interesting story --

It’s a long way from Nigeria to Elmore, but Edgewood’s new defensive end and tight end is making himself at home.

Prince Tega Wanogho Junior was one of Edgewood’s annual transfer’s from abroad in August and hadn’t played a down of football in his life. But in his first game with the reigning four-time state-champion Wildcats, he quickly made an impact by returning a fumble for a touchdown.

 * * * *

“He’s like a dry sponge, he didn’t know anything about the game of football. He didn’t know a football field was 100 yards, he didn’t know it took 10 yards to get a first down, you name it. So he’s still learning,†Carr said. “He actually kicks off for us as well. And the first ball game, the official blew the whistle and our special teams coach said, ‘Dang, I forgot to tell him to kick it when they blow the whistle.’ So it’s just funny that you expect these guys to learn this, and he didn’t know anything. But I tell you, he’s gotten better and better. He’s a specimen and the sky’s the limit. You can’t teach 6-8, 245 pounds and running a 4.6 40 (yard dash).â€

Looks & sounds like a Shawn Oakman starter kit! DE, TE, and.....kicker?

He's in my Top50 2016 class we are still working on.

Apparently he is now a 2015

(if we can believe Alabama local news reporting)

Think of what a badass TE he would make if he can catch the ball

6'8 running a 4.6

Clarington on the other side
