2011 World Series - Ranger vs. Cardinals

One-One and going back for some home cooking..Gotta love it..Funny all the guys who have been failing won the game..Kinsler, Elvis, Josh and Michael..

Feliz gave my heart a skip but got a save.. It must be scarry to face him when he is on, but insane fear when he is wild..

I went to bed happy and with a nice celebratory buzz. What a fine game that was - and to win the darn thing in the 9th was even better. A HUGE, HUGE win for the Rangers. Pretty hard to argue that the Nolan Ryan influence is not paying off for this ball club.

Yes that was a very nice win for Texas. You could tell the Cards thought they had this one in the bag. Don't underestimate the Rangers!!! I think this is just the beginning of more great games to come for this series.

When he walked the pitcher I thought we were up a creek.

That ump botched the hell out of that call at first tonight. Holliday was waaaay out. 5-3 Rangers and we need some runs!

That performance last night by Holland was nothing short of amazing. Boy did he come through for the team BIG TIME. Rangers need to win this thing tonight so they can close it out in front of those poohole fans in St. Louis.

The Rangers have been the Strangers for all of my life, including when they were the Washington Senators. Congratulations to them for the success and for the hopeful World Series title they might grab tomorrow night in St. Louis. Exciting times for Ranger fans.

Another helluva game by the Rangers again last night. CJ pitched better but still not good enough. Napoli was huge again, Beltre with that sweet bomb and Moreland finally doing something with his bat besides look at it.

Anybody know how far Morelands HR went? He smoked that ball something fierce.

Call me Bandwagon Bevo because I have been on board since Tom Hicks was forced to sell the team. I could not support any team with Hicks running the show. He pretty much destroys everything he touches. Hard to believe he is a Longhorn..

I liked Hicks for a while because he was a North Texas homer with his ownership of the Stars and the Rangers. He never did go the extra mile though to make the team a winner. I am ready for tonight's game but I have to leave work early in order to catch the 6:00 pm start! Damn St. Louis!

If it's not rained out..

Game 6 has been postponed due to weather and will be played on Thursday. Beotches!

Nailed it...I am ahead of my time but like the late, great George Carlin once said.."but only by 5 minutes."

Damn, now I have to sit at home and drink beer without the World Series on. Oh well, someone has to do it.

I'll be righ there witcha. Might have to catch up on Dexter...

At least tonight's game is at 7:05 instead of 6:00. Gives me time to get my 12 pack!

2-2 in the 2nd. Rangers are leaving too many runner on base already!

All I can say now is WOW. Lifelong Texas Rangers fan and they lead by the score of 6-4 in the 7th inning. Been through the tough times, been through the good times (which have been limited). The highlight after a Ranger game (years ago) was going to Fantasy Ranch for free with a Rangers ticket stub. Tonight in the top of the 7th inning it is about pure happiness and optimism. If they win the WORLD SERIES it would be amazing. Astros fans are rooting against us (for no real reason) and they can suck a wang. GO RANGERS!

I went to bed angry and I woke up angry. Nothing more to say about that game last night. One strike away from a wrold series title and BOOM - all swept away by shitty pitching. It is put up or shut up time tonight for the Rangers.
