Good afternoon Seamheads.  Tonight the Horns take on Boise State at the Disch.  This is the first time Boise State has played a baseball game in 1980.  They have revived their program and open up play against a hot Texas team.

We'll have all angles covered, from PBP on Twitter, game updates here and a recap by Austin Stevens after things conclude.  Feel free to join in and discuss your thoughts.  HookEm!

After the first inning, Bryce Elder takes care of Boise State offense with 11 pitches.

Texas offense starts strong with 2 runs, drove in by Zach Zubia with a 2-run RBI double. Texas gets the Boise State starter Weston's pitch count up to 33 pitches.

Texas plates 1 in B5, but leave 3 stranded.  Could've been a lot more.

Horns up 4-0 thru 5

Faltine has a lot of Hamilton in him. That’s a good thing.
Yes he does.  I think he's better at the plate at this point in his career than David was.  Maybe not quite as 'rangy' in the field.

I got to watch Tuesday and tonight. You can’t help but notice him. Always making plays. Hamilton was the same way. Demands your attention.

T6

Elder gets another K and another 1-2-3 frame

Horns up 4-0
