Perhaps it's useful for recruiting as he implied in another tweet..."it's recruiting season". Part of his job is to land some head-to-head recruits. Strong threw out "gadget program" and Bedford tweets "backyard ball".  Prop Joe is probably right on the Cold War.

I love it.  Bedford is a fiery type - ala coach Boom.  Defensive players love it as well and that's more important than what we think - especially when recruiting.

The only "useful purpose" to Bedford's comments is to tweak aggie's nose and to subtly imply that aggie lacks discipline with their "backyard ball" and "gadgets".  Or maybe he's just making an observation after watching Little Johnny's film?  He's entitled to his opinion, and that's his take on JFF's game - like it or not.

I like it.  There's real competition for TX blue chips and it doesn't look like this staff is gonna play nice or concede anything to the ag adjunct.  Hook 'em, coach.
