University of Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian is o-fer in his last four true road games.  Saturday's game is one he needs to win, not just to get the monkey off his back, but to keep his team in the hunt for a Big 12 Championship.  Whether it's in Stillwater or in Austin, the matchup between these two programs is always bold, full of energy, and full of offense.  Expect Saturday's contest to be no different.

Texas begins a two game road stretch, with a bye week in between, facing Oklahoma State at Boone Pickens Stadium.  The Pokes lost their first game of the season last week at Amon Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, but Mike Gundy's team is still very much in the hunt for a Big 12 Championship.  Texas has had trouble winning on the road under Sarkisian, which was emphasized by the team's loss in Lubbock to an unranked Texas Tech program.  A win is a must-have for both programs if they intend on appearing in Dallas in December in the league's title game.

Oklahoma State is facing quarteback uncertainty with starter Spencer Sanders nursing an ongoing shoulder injury.  Texas is facing a game in hostile territory and needs to prove that they can win in such an environment.

Gundy's Cowboys have won their last twelve games inside Boone Pickens Stadium and the Longhorns face a tall task in ending that streak.

Big day for the Texas Longhorn Program.   Do we finally get that decisive road win or get another bad taste in our mouth about a game we had no business losing?

Drinking orange koolade for breakfast.   Think Texas wins today, and does so by two scores.

Hook’em!!!!

I do not get this spread. How on earth are we even a favorite?!
Initial spread is set by some expert predictions,  then it moves based on how people are betting. So FWIW the people putting money on the table think Texas will win. Sander's injury is likely a factor.

not quite right...as a 25 year resident of Las Vegas I was able to meet and get schooled by some of the guys in the business who set the lines. The INITIAL betting line is a number that they feel they can stimulate an equal amount of action on the game, it  really doesnt reflect who will win the game or how it will turn out....

for example if they had set OSU as the betting  favorite the Texas money probably would have overflowed and the sports books would be vulnerable to a Texas win....now with OSU as a home underdog they are daring bettors to take the points which started as low as +3 and got as high as +6.5 in some markets

This is one of those betting games that a savvy player would probably stay away from, because of all the intangibles involved including the weather, Texas record on the road under Sark, and their less than stellar play last weekend. The sports books have yet to get an accurate read on this Texas team, and with the exception of TCU game, Texas may very well be favored in every game from here on out for the rest of the season

This game worries because D is porous  in 3rd and Sark has not yet proved  he win in hostile environment.

Where you play has no impact on your physical abilities.  It’s all about your mental toughness.  I hope Texas can prove to everyone including themselves that they have what it takes to win on the road.

2 passes by Ewers that were off.  Hope this is not a portent of things to come.
