Arkansas is up next and the game in Fayette Nam will be one that the Pigs can hang their whole season on. Texas played Arkansas a couple of years ago there in the Ozarks and it did not end well for the Horns.
Hopefully, this time we go up there understanding how much beating Texas means to them. And hopefully, we put our foot on their throat early and cruise to victory.
An Arkansas win would set Texas back with a second loss with a trip to aggy still on the horizon. The Pigs would like nothing better. Literally.

The big question leading up to this game is the health of Hog QB Taylen Green and running back (and former Horn) Ja'Quinden Jackson. Both are said to be questionable going into this one. Neither player has practiced during the bye week so while they may get to play, I don't know how effective they can be if they're not at 100%.
Green has a knee sprain he suffered against Ole Miss. He was relieved by back up Malachi Nelson who went 11 of 14 passes for 200 yards and a TD.
Jackson's playing time has been limited this year due to being dinged up for much of the season. When Texas-Arkansas kick off, it will be four weeks since his last meaningful playing time. He injured his ankle against Tennessee.
Backup RB Braylen Russell replaced Jackson in the line up and had a good game against Miss State, but appeard dinged up in the Ole Miss game and only had four carries.
Jaylon Braxton, the Pigs best DB (corner), has not played in the last seven games. He's been out with an undisclosed leg injury.
Texas, on the other hand, should go into this game relatively healthy and sustained no new injuries in the game with Florida.
Texas will have to be motivated for this game or Arkansas will give us great grief. The confines there will not be friendly and will all be praying for Longhorn failure.
Here's a great story about this week's game from Sports Illustrated. Enjoy!
