Not trying to sound like aggie here but he never really seemed committed to Texas anyways and that is fine, he's a kid. I'm not too concerned about recruiting in July. Once we get to November things will start to heat up and I'm sure Texas will flip somebody from somewhere else.

I’m not concern at all with DT recruiting. Get massive kids with a high motor and willingness to work and you are good in the middle. We like our guys to occupy blocks and keep LB’s free. I’m sure that doesn’t appeal to some kids.

I am. This is what happens when you have four upperclassmen at a position and bring in three more. How many DT's have we signed The last cycle and have committed in the current one? Don't count Brandon Brown because he is LSU bound.

It's basically pointing towards brown flipping to LSU so Texas shouldn't waste their time trying to make him stay

It's not that Bo Davis is a better recruiter than Baker. Davis is actually a horrible recruiter in most cases. We're in this situation because of him.

But in this specific instance, we're talking about a recruit who got close to Davis during his time at both Texas and lsu. He's known Davis more than twice as longg as he's known Baker.

We've been hoping, thus far, that he was in love with Texas, the program, and not a specific coach.

Go back to May think was when said Brown would go LSU because he was big on relationship. Bo establish that relationship. He committed to Bo.

I think you're right. But given Davis' lackluster recruiting, you have to admit there's more to this than just getting schooled. Davis didn't wake up one morning recently and suddenly learn how to recruit. He had the "in" at a program that was good and closer to home with a familiar face there.

Since we have 7 upper classmen, I suppose this really isn't that big of a deal anyway. lol Unless you look at who will leave at season's end, long before these guys would even arrive on campus.
