2024 Recruiting Board/Thread

Got a new thread up for y'all with an offer board, events calendar and updated scholarship roster.

On the offer board specifically, I organized it by position and linked profiles to hopefully make it cleaner.

The thread is open for comments, questions, etc.

Folks, I highly recommend you give this new thread a look. TFloss has got everything organized in an easy to understand way. Great effort on his part. Great tool for getting to know the new kids on the block.

Today for Tide fan is the ultra spoiled frat kid, who has had no worries and lived it up for two decades., finally getting cut off.

Welcome back to Earth, Bama.
Hope they don’t go after Sark. But if I were them I would

Planning a visit to aggy, I assume bc they just hired the former Bama WR coach.

Would this dude really pick a&m over Sark?
Logic tells us it's down to Auburn and Texas.

His father played for Auburn, but the optimistic side of me says that doesn't matter as much as you'd think since he already committed to their biggest rival.

Having to recruit against Freeze is no walk-in-the-park, though.

Seems Hayes Fawcett agrees with you

so, here is a question for you guys. With all the talk of this WR and that WR in the portal (CJ Daniels, the kid Oregon St and others), do they not take them and focus all the energy on Ryan Williams? I know Williams is a # buster, but they still have a limited # of scholarships available. I believe Williams is a generational WR and can start day 1 . I know he is very young, but he is extremely advanced. Williams instantly vaults the Texas WR group to the top of college football. Williams, Cook, Wingo, Golden, Moore, and Niblett would be the most talented and deepest group out there.

The WR room is thin... very thin. And there aren't a lot of college receptions in the room. I believe they desire some gravitas / experience in that group. Even though scholarships are limited, this is where you spend much of your limited allotment at this point.

On WR Ryan Williams...

Hamilton at On3 spoke to a source close to him and that person believes he has Texas higher than A&M and Auburn right now.

His best head coach relationship is Sark, the QB room (including his teammate KJ Lacey), Sark's scheme and a wide open WR depth chart are all things working in Texas' favor right now.

In addition to his official visit to Austin at the end of the month, Sark still has an in-home visit to use.

Agree. A contested catch is very important in today’s game. Some guys have those strong hands and some guys don’t. Sark is probably going to get at least 2 guys like that.
