Spoke to my friend yesterday. He didn't have much time, he traveled with the team.
I asked about Ryan Williams and how he felt about our chances. He said the visit is just a way for him to increase his NIL. Said he's not going to Auburn because of how they treated his father at one time. And the Texas visit is just for show.
Then I asked why we were going through with the visit if these are the facts.
"Well, you never know."
For a WR to prefer Milrose over Ewers/Manning especially with Sark in charge is just weird to me.
Milrose has improved but hes more of a dual threat QB and I do not see him as a consistent passer. Yea hes made some nice Hail Marys or prayers if you will. Just seems mostly lucky like the Auburn game.
Alabama ranks 60th in NCAA in passing offense, Texas is 18th.
Just doesnt seem like a good decision on his part.
The NIL crap reminds me of agent games. Its slowly becoming the NFL in terms of money ruining the game. I know it works in our favor the majority of the time but it still stinks
