if you are shooting Texas deer at that range you are doing something very wrong

All depends where you are hunting. I’ve shot quite a few at 300 yards.

My Dad had me using a 12 gauge shotgun shooting plugs when I grew up there in Daingerfield. Shots were always pretty close in that area.

I didn't shoot my first deer rifle until after I left the house.

looks like the old adage is if you lose early its better than losing late, ALL the teams ahead of Texas will lose at least one, some will lose twice, IMO Alabama runs the table and so does Texas and thats THE REMATCH

Anyone with more knowledge than me have a best guess at what time the K-State game will be? I have tickets but will have to drive in from Houston with 3 kids. Would love for it not to be at 11am...

that remind me of when my friend who was a TP&W biologist took me on an East Texas turkey hunt, he told me you will hear them but won't see him till the last minute, it was very exciting, unlike hunting Rio Grandes in CenTex where you see them coming a football field away

Take a good look SHA....because you wont get the chance to see him again after the season starts. I think it is a rule or something like that....
