Looks like the SEC is rolling out the red carpet for Arch ?
If we go to a 9 game schedule,  with 0u, aggy and piggy as our annual games, then you would think we would alternate hosting aggy and piggy, with 0u being at a neutral site.

Since moving to a 9 game schedule can happen at any time after 2024, it seems odd that we aren't hosting aggy or piggy.  Maybe piggy isn't going to be one of our annual games.

So if my thinking is correct,  then our annual match ups will be 0u, aggy and one of Kentucky,  Mississippi State or Florida.  I'm guessing Florida,  but who knows.

Florida, I hope. More attractive match-up and better recruiting grounds.

Last time we played aggys and pigs, it was at their house. Well, okay, we'll just have to take a good supply of air freshener to the games.  At least we get Georgia and Florida at home.

This is way too far thinking ahead but this also sets up the possibility of the SEC scheduling Tennessee and Ole Miss for 2025 - hypothetically Arch's 3rd season on the team when he is most likely to be the starting QB and potentially playing his final college season.

When we begin to compete for the SEC championship in multiple sports, I think we will leave Ohio State in the dust. Except for basketball, the big 12 has not provided a good platform for sports and sports revenue. I think the SEC will provide a much better platform for revenue.

So, looking at the 2024 season schedule and projecting towards 2025, will the SEC move towards a 9 game conference schedule? I looked at SEC teams future schedules and some have committed to four OOC games out until 2025. Does that keep the conference games at 8 until all contracts have been fulfilled or will the league force each team to buyout a game to enable a 9 conference game system? Thoughts?
