I don't mind the staff doing their due diligence, but they do seem a little slow on offering portal players.

Seems like maybe they are using the portal for depth players.

I trust Sark’s decision on WR but I don’t know if I would add a WR out of the portal. We know what Worthy and Whittington are. Johntay is ready day 1 and probably Moore too. Thompson is still a guy……..10.12 doesn’t come around very often. Neyor if he comes back fully healthy should be a guy. Savion, Cain. It’d have to be a hell of a receiver to want to take out of the portal. I mean a starter. We don’t need a depth guy.

I suspect they're making sure they get the high schoolers they're anticipating before signing a portal guy. The exception would if they know for sure they're going to need a portal guy even if they land all the high schoolers they expect.
